PUSH UP TEST
SIT UP TEST
SIT & REACH
JUMP ROPE TEST
Each grading period, all PE students (*with the exception of Strength & Conditioning) will take four Fitness Tests (Push Ups, Sit Ups, Flexibility and Jump Rope). Combined, these constitute 20% of their final PE grade. These tests are performance based. A students grade is determined by their number of repetitions/time, age and gender. Each student will fitness test three times per semester (Pre-Test, Mid-Term and Post-Test).
Students train most days at the beginning and/or end of class for these tests and all can be practiced at home on their own time as well. Students MUST complete all four tests to get a final Fitness Test score.
*Strength & Conditioning students will be tested in 1RM (Block 3) or Conversion Max (Block 2) for the 4 Core Lifts: Bench, Squat, Trap Bar Dead Lift and Hang Clean. Strength students will also Jump Test: Vertical Jump, Broad Jump and Standing Triple Jump. Finally, in strength, students will also test the 40yd Dash, 10yd Fly and Pro Agility. Results and Rankings can be viewed by clicking the 'STRENGTH RANKINGS' tab.
